![]() ![]() ![]() Makes no sense to me, but maybe I'm missing some lore here. I know it's the first but I don't get what heavy-metal ♥♥♥♥♥-aesthetic, 666, upside-down pentagrams, Baphamut heads on every other surface, and Trent Reznor have to do with any of the science fiction in the whole rest of the series. Masque of Clavicus Vile původně napsal:Quake 1, in my opinion, doesn't seem like it's even part of the Quake universe. Either as rebooted Quake 1 or awaited sequel for Quake 4! ![]() If you have any insider news, share it in the comment section. Well, that time I didn't have the idea how this QUAKE franchise changed the world of video games forever specially the 2nd installment in 1997. The graphics were awful but I really enjoyed all the actions. I remember quite tricks were performed for playing that "ancient artifact" in windows 7. I found a CD of Quake 2 in my maternal uncle's house. NiNJARiCK16 původně napsal:The year was 2010 and I was 12 years old. I don't think it's very likely that they will ever do such a thing but the only sequels I want are true sequels to Quake 1. The lore and atmosphere in the sequels feel like cheap trash compared to Quake 1 and no matter how good Quake 2 is as a game, it completely ruined the franchise because of that. Biomechanical alien zombies are just trivial, disappointing and boring compared to it. Quake 1 was wonderful because of Lovecraft (although Doom 64 is even more wonderful, and it gives me Lovecraft vibes as well), I love Lovecraft and this is the reason why I decided to try it. Subsequent Quake games are like another franchise. They should make something like it but with a "vanilla game" level of difficulty and effort. I have played Arcane dimension mod and it greatly improve it but it is too hard and expecially too demanding, it requires a level of effort that it is just completely unenjoyable for me. It had wonderful atmosphere but it could be improved so much. So, what do you think, Will we get a QUAKE game? Though I have some negative thoughts about this, because it's Microsoft. Let's see how the developers of I'd software create some magic. So, the future of QUAKE franchise is in Microsoft's hand then. This gives Microsoft control of popular games such as The Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Doom, Quake and Wolfenstein. Recently we heard that Microsoft is paying $7.5 billion to acquire game maker ZeniMax Media, the parent company of gaming studios such as Bethesda. Most of the gamers are giving negative reviews on their latest games except the games of DOOM franchise.īut let's leave these things aside, Shall we get a brand new Quake game in future? ( It would be fun if they add some awesome storyline alongside a cool gameplay.) Well Bethesda Softworks has pretty much *DOOMED* their franchises like FallOut and Wolfenstein. The Quake Champions (2017) didn't go well in the multiplayer market though Quake franchise games were one of the first in multiplayer first person shooter games. LMAO.īut sadly, QUAKE franchise is pretty dead right now. The year was 2010 and I was 12 years old. ![]()
